A DAY WITH A HOLISTIC COACH
PART 3.

Leaving the bus I stopped in at the supermarket on the way home to buy something for dinner. When I arrived home I cooked dinner and sat down to reflect on the day that had been, then voice spoke again “HAVE A LOOK AT WHAT MOVIES ARE ON T/V?” Well did that start the mind going or what? Another movie, already watched 2, what a complete waste of time, more exciting things to do than sit and watch again, want some fun, this is boring, what will people say when I tell them what I have done today, and on and on it went till “STOP I SAID, STOP ENOUGH!” Remember back to beginning of the day listen to the little voice “OBSERVE, OBSERVE!!” I turned the T/V on to look at what was on; once again a movie was chosen for me to watch. This was very different to the other movies I watched during the day. What I found was, that I just sat and enjoyed the whole thing, no mind chatter, no voice, just watching and observing. A feeling of powerfulness came over me as I was watching, relating to what was going on, wow what a wonderful experience, and I felt uplifted by the end. As I went to make a coffee the little voice spoke “ARE YOU LIVING LIKE THEY WERE? YOU OKAY WITH CHANGE IF IT HAS TO BE THAT WAY? FEAR COULD HAVE PARALYSED THEM YOU KNOW, WOULD YOU ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN TO YOU?”
Mmmmm I sat and drank the coffee wondering what all this meant. I asked myself some questions.
Why was I, supposed to spend this day, this way?
All these observation, what does it mean to me?
How do I make sense of it all?
Shall I just let it all go and forget the day?
That little voice appeared again with these words “TIME TO SLEEP, YOUR OBSERVATIONS WILL BECOME YOUR AWARENESSES FOR YOUR FUTURE, TRUST IN THE UNKNOWN AND LIFE WILL SUPPORT YOU.”
As I had done all day, I listened to what that voice was telling me. Remembering another technique I have used, I lay in bed watching my own movie of the day that had been, all the little observations I had made, and the internal chatter of the mind.
(To do this, replay the day backwards in your mind and just watch it all unfold this can help people to let go of the day and sleep more peaceful. Be aware not to hold on to anything that has taken place during the day. Just OBSERVE, OBSERVE, OBSERVE!)
